Privacy policy
Last updated 2 July 2026
This policy explains what information Olduka (“we”, “us”) collects from visitors to this website and from businesses who submit the request-access form, and how we use it. Olduka is an operating system for small and medium businesses in Kenya and East Africa; this site is our marketing page, not the product itself.
What we collect
When you submit the request-access form, we collect the name, business name, phone or WhatsApp number, and, if you choose to share it, a short description of what your business sells or does. We collect this only when you submit the form yourself; we do not collect it by any other means.
We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which sets cookies to measure how visitors use this site, once you have accepted the cookie consent notice. You can decline the notice and continue browsing without GA4 cookies being set.
Why we collect it
We use request-access submissions for one purpose: to contact you about Olduka and evaluate whether we can help your business. We use GA4 data in aggregate to understand which parts of this page are useful and which are not, so we can improve it.
Where it goes
Request-access submissions are relayed by email to our team at info@olduka.com via SendGrid, our email delivery provider. We do not currently store submissions in a separate database. We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not share it beyond what is needed to respond to your request.
Your choices
You can decline GA4 cookies at any time via the consent notice. To ask what information we hold about your business, or to have it deleted, contact us at info@olduka.com.
About this policy
This is a general-purpose policy covering our current, small-scale use of data. We intend to replace it with a version reviewed by counsel as the product and its data handling grow.
